This is a demo from the early 1980's. This is one of Howard's earliest recordings ever to be released (as a solo artist). "Curses" was never released prior to the release of "The Very Best Of Howard Jones" in 2003. The track was last played in 1984 on the UK Channel 4 Live TV Show, Loose Talk. During the performance, a piece of Howard's equipment blew up, and since then it has never been performed again. The version on the album is taken from a studio demo from around 1982 which was restored for this release by Glenn Kelly.
